Theory & Ground School
Now we get to the tedious but important part.
Whatever license you are studying towards there are examinations that you must pass in order to complete the license. For the PPL the examinations cover Air Law, Aircraft Technical and General, Human Performance, Navigation, Flight Planning, Principles of Flight and Meteorology. From learning the basics of how the aircraft works to planning a Cross Country flight and learning how to take in all the considerations with weather and how the flight complies with the law.
We try to make the learning as fun as possible because the more you laugh, the more you are enjoying it and the more you enjoy it the more you will learn.
The Commercial License goes back to cover the PPL Subjects in much greater depth and in addition to these you will see the introduction of Radio Aids and Instruments.
Phew, thankfully it’s not as hard as you think and the dedication to become a pilot, coupled with the interest you will develop whilst studying, will drive you on to make you want to learn more.
