Instrument Rating
An Instrument Rating allows the pilot to operate the aircraft solely by means of using the instruments, as opposed to "visually" flying the aircraft. This takes place in the final stages of the Commercial Pilot Training.
The Instrument Rating does not come easily, but once you have earned the rating you will be a valuable commodity for any airline.
